Kia Ora, I’m Angela Hann. My family have been in South Auckland for over 40 years, starting in Mangere at the refugee centre and eventually settling in Dawson.
Despite travelling the country as far as Ōtepoti Dunedin for study, South Auckland will always be my home. It’s given me opportunities to become the person I am today.
I am passionate about social changes in our community to help us grow, not only as Individuals, but as whānau and together as a wider community.
Growing up in Otara, I have an understanding of the struggles that many families go through. I aim to prioritise the well-being of our youth so they can thrive in South Auckland and beyond.
With young people making most of our population, I want their voice heard and their needs meet. Together with other local organisations, we can make a difference for our future generations to come.
