Lorenzo Kaisara is a proud Samoan-born Kiwi, who has served in Ōtara for many years. He graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and Manukau Institute of Technology with a Certificate in Community Health and Addictions.
As a Community Liaison Manager for a local healthcare provider, Lorenzo’s work is vital in breaking down barriers to healthcare access. He is an active advocate of free community services and programs of value to the Ōtara community, and a regular Master of Ceremony and promoter of community events.
Lorenzo produces the Samoan show on Radio 531Pi and a weekly Communitycations e-newsletter about community initiatives and meetings with a strong focus on Ōtara and South Auckland.
He is passionate about serving the Ōtara community and seeing Ōtara truly transformed and young people being supported are just a few of his passions.
