Tēnā koe. I love Tāmaki-Maungakiekie! It has been my home since the early 1960s when my young parents moved here with their four children. I've spent over a decade in local government, primarily in Community Development and Iwi partnerships, and gained deep insights into the inner workings of the public sector. From there, I moved into senior leadership roles across Tertiary Education, Taamaki Housing, and urban Marae governance. My voluntary mahi and leadership in sport enabled me to support clubs to grow and realise their potential. I believe in building meaningful relationships and bringing people together to achieve success especially through community-led initiatives. With deep local knowledge and lived experience, I'm committed to improving access to resources, equity and local decision-making so council's budget and community amenities truly reflect the aspirations and needs of the diverse communities we serve. Please vote for me and our strong Labour team.
