First elected in the 2018 by-election, I bring extensive experience in governance, advocacy and grassroots leadership. As Chair of the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board since 2021, I've led community driven initiatives focused on real, lasting outcomes. My 25-year career at the University of Auckland supporting adult learners reflects a strong commitment to education and equity. I also bring experience from the business sector, trust boards, church leadership, and the health and disability fields - providing a well-rounded and informed perspective. A proud Glen Innes resident for over 40 years, mother of four, and grandmother, I remain deeply connected to our community. If re-elected, I'll continue to advocate for safe neighbourhoods, better transport, empowered youth, environmental protection and stronger local businesses. Together, we can build a more vibrant, inclusive and resilient Tāmaki. Vote for me and the full Labour team - trusted, experienced, and committed to our community's future.
