Lives in Hillpark. Attends Manukau New Life Church. Glenn's grandfather co-owned a local mechanic business, serving the community for decades since the 1940's. He and wife Merete have raised their children and now help raise their two grandsons, who attend Hillpark School. A founding trustee of the Manukau New life Community Trust, Glenn helped host the annual Christmas in the Park event, also providing meals and clothing for families in need. As Deputy Chair of the Manurewa Local Board, Glenn has been part of the budget-setting negotiations to improve the Board's financial position. He is frequently called upon to fix broken footpaths, get potholes repaired, and get illegally dumped rubbish removed. As an Action candidate, Glenn supports the retention of the weekly household rubbish collection service as championed by Councillor Newman - a weekly service for public health and cleanliness. Please vote for Glenn 'ActionMan' Murphy and every Action candidate.
