Kia ora and Pacific greetings. My name is Togiatolu Walter Togiamua. I'm married with six children of Niuean, Ngāti Porou, Ngai Tai and Tainui descent. I am currently a member of the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board and seeking re-election. I am a long-time Mangere resident, for over 30 years. I previously worked as a Police Office for over 10 years and currently work at Manukau Urban Māori Authority (MUMA) supporting our Māori and Pacific men move back into the community.
As a current member of the Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board for over 12 years, I would like to continue to build strong relationships and consultation with our community, maintain free access to our swimming pools and libraries, and advocate to improve public transport. My twelve years of knowledge and experience in Auckland Council underpins my commitment to continue serving the people of Māngere-Ōtāhuhu.
Please vote for me and the Labour Team.
