Māngere-Ōtāhuhu has been my family's home for over 20 years. We live in Māngere Bridge where my two children attend our local schools. We shop locally, enjoy our parks and fight the same traffic as you.
I'm an active member of the Māngere Bridge Community Patrols, Onehunga-Māngere United Sports Club and Māngere Bridge Residents and Ratepayers Association. I started a Community Noticeboard which now has over 9000 local residents.
We need a strong voice who will stand up for our community and fight every day for you and our fair share of funding. The current board has ignored the issues facing our seaside village.
You get common-sense and someone who'll genuinely listen, and cares for our community. I'll keep Auckland Transport accountable and focus on the issues that matter: safer neighbourhoods, protecting our harbour/waterways, family-friendly parks and reliable public transport and infrastructure.
