Christine (BA(Hons), LLB, Cert Train Dev) lives in Ōtāhuhu with her partner and two rescue dogs. An Hon Member of the Ōtāhuhu RSA, she belongs to the Ōtāhuhu Club, Historical Society and Rotary (2019 Paul Harris Fellow) and is Patron of the Ōtāhuhu Leopards and Ōtāhuhu UFC. She has worked in publishing, research and communications, and has many years experience volunteering for crisis counselling organisations, community groups and events. Currently Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board Deputy Chair, her priorities include community health and wellbeing, social and economic resilience, supporting Mangere-Ōtāhuhu's fabulous arts and culture, and climate change.
