As a decendant of Ngati te Ata Waiohua and Waikato Tainui, I have a longstanding connection to Franklin and am committed to serving our whole community. I have worked alongside churches, educational institutes, marae, health providers, environmental groups and local initiatives, and I value the strength that comes from diversity and collaboration. I am standing for the Franklin Local Board to ensure every voice is heard and local solutions are prioritised. My focus is on: Protecting and restoring our environment (taiao); Supporting the local skills and economic growth; Strengthening health and wellbeing services; Building inclusive, connected communities. I believe in kotahitanga, working together to create a Franklin where our environment thrives, our communities are resilient, and everyone feels they belong.
