Lives in Wattle Downs. Married to Peter, a police officer. Attended St Andrew's Presbyterian Church and their three children attended St Andrew's Christian School (now known as Manukau Christian School in Rogers Road).
Worked as an office manager at an engineering company in Manurewa. Cheryl has been a member of the Manurewa Cosmopolitan Club for the past 15 years. She volunteered as a secretary of Weymouth Junior Cricket Club and has been involved with Papakura Bowls Club. She belonged to the Huntingtons Disease Association, where she served as the secretary until she needed to provide more support to family members who fell victim to that disease.
Cheryl wants to build the wealth of the Wiri Licensing Trust as a community asset; then continue returning dividends back to Manurewa by reinvesting in our community clubs and groups and through charitable outreach.
