I'm seeking your vote to represent you on the Waitakere Licensing Trust Board for Te Atatu. I pledge to be a responsible and respectful member of the board, who will work with others to ensure the assets, businesses and profits generated by the Trust are retained for the benefit of the community. I view the Trust as an asset and enterprise owned by the people, with profits returning to local organizations, clubs, schools and services.
The Trust needs to continue to improve its local facilities and to operate its business functions ethically and responsibly to meet community expectations.
I've lived and worked in Te Atatu South for over 25 years. My parents' first home was in Te Atatu, I attended West Auckland schools and have been principal of a local primary school for 30 years. I know our community well, and have connections to many families, whanau and community groups.
