I am the current President of the BLT and a trustee for the past 12 years. I am a local boy having been a student at Verrans Primary, Birkdale Intermediate and Birkenhead College, a life member at the country's best football club, Birkenhead United.
I love being part of our fantastic local community.
As a current trustee, I have the responsibility and privilege of distributing gaming proceeds from our bars to various community groups so that they can deliver their services to our people.
It is not an easy role as we have businesses to operate and a variety of finance, legal, audit and compliance requirements. My 'day job' as a commercial, trust and property lawyer has helped me perform as a trustee.
I would value the opportunity to serve our community again, together with Shane, Marilyn and Paula, who are also standing for re-election.
